Case Study: MTN Family Funfair

Overview

The MTN Family Funfair is a series of community-focused events designed to bring families together through games, music, and performances. Beyond entertainment, the fairs are meant to strengthen community bonds and reinforce MTN’s image as a family-centric brand. Our goal was to deliver highly engaging, value-driven experiences that celebrated families, built brand affinity, enhanced product knowledge, and encouraged deeper adoption of MTN’s services across Nigeria.

Implementation

We designed a holistic activation plan that blended cultural relevance, inclusive activities, and CSR storytelling. Each venue was transformed into a vibrant “experience zone” filled with live entertainment, branded elements, and interactive games for all age groups to deepen engagement. We have facilitated effective on-ground product activations and subscriber acquisition campaigns, in different states and cities across Nigeria. Every detail from event flow to guest management, was executed seamlessly to ensure a fun-filled and memorable atmosphere.

Achievement

The Brand Activation Company successfully ran effective activations in different states across Nigeria including Calabar, Ibadan, and across 10 different cities in Kano, creating experiences that brought thousands of families together. These events not only amplified MTN’s brand visibility and strengthened community connections but also increased product knowledge and adoption. Most importantly, our activations turned the Family Funfair into more than just an event, it became a unifying celebration that left lasting memories for families while positioning MTN as a trusted, community-first brand.
